Day 01: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Whenever, your international flight lands in city airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. You may need some time to relax and recover from the long-distance flight or possibly from jet-lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask from your hotel reception for recommendations.

Day 02: Bayan Gobi sand dunes
After breakfast drive to Bayan Gobi magnificent sand dunes - surrounded by hills with willow trees, streams and bushes, and appear as a small desert in the center of the country. This sand dune is 80km long and the widest part of the sand dune is 9-10 km. Also, the sand dune called as mini Gobi.
In the afternoon, we will visit camel herder family and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle.
The sand dunes are the perfect place for camel riding. We will discover this magnificent place on camel back. Mongolia is home to 2/3 of the two-humped Bactrian camels in the world. It is a gentle, calm and extraordinary patient animal and can carry on without water for a month. Bet, you never rode a Bactrian camel, riding a Bactrian camel is much more comfortable than the camel in Sahara, India or anywhere else. Its two humps support you from both sides and easy pace will comfort you so much.
Return to the Ger camp near the sand dunes for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Karakorum & Erdene Zuu Buddhist Monastery – Lake Ugii
After breakfast, we will drive to Karakorum and Erdenezuu Monastery. Karakorum was not only the capital of the vast Mongolian Empire, but the epic center of trade along Silk Road. However, the Karakorum of today is a small settlement with little focus on tourism. Today there is a museum does show off some of the artefacts they've recovered so far,
Upon arrival in the village, we will visit museum of Karakorum and learn about beautiful ancient Karakorum. Then we will visit to the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 stupas. Here you can see interesting listen to monk chanting Buddhist sutras. Return to ger camp and have dinner.
After lunch at the Ger camp, we will take 1.5hrs drive to Ugii Lake - is located up 1337m from the ocean level and it is a pure water steppe lake, which is 7.9km long, 5km wide. The lake Ugii is a famous for its birdlife. Ogii lake has registered in the Ramsar Convention for being important breeding and staging area for a variety of waterfowl.
Check-in Ger camp on shore of the lake. In the late afternoon is free time for your own. There you can travel by normal boat or motor boat and go for fishing in the lake. Fishing equipment is available from the camp. Or just walking and hiking around the lake.

Day 04: Hustai National Park (Wild Horse Park)
In the morning, we will drive to the Hustai National Park. This area is home to the Mongolian wild horse known as Perzevalski horse (takhi) with unique landscape that features mountain and steppe
After lunch at Hustai Ger camp, we will visit the small Informational center about the national park and wild horse. The takhi and marmots are easy to see around 2-3hrs earlier than sunset, when they come down from mountains for water to stream.
In early evening, we will take short drive and hiking to see the horses in their natural habitat. Seeing these truly wild horses which numbered in the hundreds of thousands of years ago, will make you feel like you have traveled thousands of years back in time. There is great opportunity to take photo for these endangered horses. If you are lucky, you can see fox, deer, roe deer, eagle, and more animals and birds…

Day 05: Mongol Nomadic - Ulaanbaatar & half day city tour
At 8.30am, we will drive to Mongol Nomadic tourist Ger camp for Mongolian nomads show which will show you real Mongolian nomadic way of living and traditional custom and culture for the past period. The show demonstrates traditional living way of real Mongolian nomads and breeding and using of five kinds of livestock and movement from one place to another using ox, yak, camel and horse carts which are the carts. The rest of the day is free for you to be on your own.
After lunch, we will return to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival in the city, we will visit “Gandan” Monastery, Mongolia’s largest functioning Buddhist monastery including the Mongolian Buddhist University. The highlight of visiting to Gandan is 26-meter-high majestic gilded indoor statue of Megjid Janraisig.
Continue to visit Museum of Mongolian National History – the museum presents Mongolian history and culture from prehistoric times to the present day.
Next, visit Sukhbaatar square which is lies at the heart of the city surrounded by important buildings such as government palace, banks and theaters and post office. There is an equestrian statue of Sukhbaatar and a massive Bronze statue of Genghis khan with his four warriors in front of Parliament House.
In the evening, we will visit “Wonders of Mongolia” folklore show by famous Tumen-Ekh ensemble - is one of the most successful folk art groups to share traditional Mongolian music with the world, having traveled to over 40 countries.
Dinner is at “Bd’s Mongolian Barbeque” international chain restaurant.

Day 06: Departure
You will be free at leisure in your hotel or wander around on your own until being escorted to the Chinggis Khaan International Airport for your departure flight home. Your driver will assist you with flight check-in and luggage, and see you off at the point of security check. Meal: Breakfast

A: If your tour departs within 30 days full payment is required, otherwise a deposit of $200 per person will confirm your booking. But this amount is subject to change. Q: What is tourist Ger Camp?
A: Tourist Ger camp is traditional style accommodation with full service facilities, most commonly used in outside of the city. The Ger is a round structure of walls, poles and a peaked roof covered with canvas and felt, and tightened with ropes.
Tourist Ger camp - has consists with 20-30 Gers (Mongolian traditional dwelling), restaurant, and some entertainment facilities, western style toilet and hot water showers. Each Ger has 2 beds and furnished with a table, chairs and wood-stove. Most visitors prefer to stay in Ger, which provide an authentic taste of Mongolian culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia.
Q: What meal is included? What is the restaurant like?
A: We select restaurants based on our experiences, client satisfaction, location and cuisine. Normally we include three meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) each day during the whole trip.
In Ulaanbaatar, you can expect a good variety of quality restaurants with international foods. Breakfasts usually are served in western style at the hotel where you stay.
We mostly use following restaurants for lunch & dinner in the city trip: “Modern Nomads”, “bd’s Mongolia Barbeque”, “City Nomads”, “Khaan Ger” and hotel restaurants in Ulaanbaatar. Lunch & dinners are mostly served in Western food, and sometimes Mongolian food, or a combination.
Outside of the city, we generally eat breakfast and dinner in best tourist Ger camp in their region and some day of longer trip take a packed lunch. Your packed lunch will be carried in appropriate containers to prevent spillage or spoiling. Ger camps serve both Mongolian and international foods, and there will usually be a choice of main dish.
Q: I am a vegetarian; will you provide vegetarian meals for me?
A: Sure, we can always make the arrangement according to your requirements. So if you have any special requirements on your food, please let us know so that we can inform the restaurants beforehand to meet your needs.
Q: How about vehicles and road trips?
A: In 2014, roughly 14% of Mongolian 40000km road is paved and the rest is earth-roads. But, almost 35% of main tourist destinations roads are connected with paved roads. Most travel takes place on the earth-roads, which are gravel, dirt roads and sometimes muddy and bumpy.
On overland tours, we use comfortable, 4WD Korean, Russian, Japanese jeeps and vans. These vehicles are ideally suited on Mongolian countryside roads.
Our drivers are highly experienced; they know their way around the Mongolian countryside including many places which have no road sign and networked roads. They are true professionals.
