A: According to the Mongolian rating system, 2- 5 star hotels are approved to receive foreign guests.

We give clients the opportunity to stay in a wide range of accommodation, depending on tour from 3* to 5* hotels in Ulaanbaatar and best tourist Ger camps in countryside trip.

Q: What is tourist Ger Camp?
A: Ger Camp is a kind of hotel that serves customers with Gers instead of hotel rooms and always located at the best viewing spot. It’s most popular accommodation type for countryside trip in Mongolia that consists of 20-30 Gers (Mongolian traditional yurt), a restaurant and some entertainment facilities. Each Ger has 2 beds and furnished with a table, chairs and a wood-stove. Modern toilet and hot shower facilities is separate block. The restaurant mostly serves with Western and Mongolian meals. Most visitors prefer to stay in Ger, which provide an authentic taste of Mongolian culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia.

Q: What meal is included? What is the restaurant like?
A: We select restaurants based on our experiences, client satisfaction, location and cuisine. Normally we include three meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) each day during the whole trip.
In Ulaanbaatar, you can expect a good variety of quality restaurants with international foods. Breakfasts usually are served in western style at the hotel where you stay.
We mostly use following restaurants for lunch & dinner in the city trip: “Modern Nomads”, “bd’s Mongolian Barbeque”, “City Nomads”, “Mirage” and hotel restaurants in Ulaanbaatar. Lunch & dinners are mostly served in Western food, and sometimes Mongolian food, or a combination.
Outside of the city, we generally eat breakfast and dinner in best tourist Ger camp in their region and some day of longer trip take a packed lunch. Your packed lunch will be carried in appropriate containers to prevent spillage or spoiling. Ger camps serve both Mongolian and international foods, and there will usually be a choice of main dish.

A: Sure, we can always make the arrangement according to your requirements. So if you have any special requirements on your food, please let us know so that we can inform the restaurants beforehand to meet your needs.

Q: How about vehicles and road trips?
A: In 2017, roughly 18% of Mongolian 48600km road is paved and the rest is earth-roads. But, almost 35% of main tourist destinations roads are connected with paved roads. Most travel takes place on the earth-roads, which are gravel, dirt roads and sometimes muddy and bumpy.
On overland tours, we use comfortable, 4WD Korean, Russian, Japanese jeeps and vans. These vehicles are ideally suited on Mongolian countryside roads.
Our drivers are highly experienced; they know their way around the Mongolian countryside including many places which have no road sign and networked roads. They are true professionals.

Hi Davaa, "I hope you are well. Our trip was fantastic. Thank you so much for your help.
I'd like to give you some feedback.
The guide in Beijing, Tristan, was fantastic. Helpful, well spoken and a lot of fun.
The guides in Mongolia were great too - especially Bogi in the Gobi.
As you might be aware, we had issues with our flights. We missed the connecting flight to Beijing from Shanghai due to a delay with our Sydney flight and we had our return flight from Xian to Beijing cancelled. Hence, we missed 2 nights at Wangfujing Hilton. I am putting a claim in with my travel insurance and need a letter from hotel confirming this happened and also confirming the cost of the two rooms for each of the nights missed. Could you please organize this for me?
Again, thanks for your help in organizing such a great trip.
Kind regards

We had a fantastic time! I want to let you know that Tour Company were fantastic.  Everything went off like clockwork.  The guides, hotels, attractions, and itinerary in both Mongolia and China were fantastic. We had no problems what so ever.   The guides were there at the airport or docks to meet us every time on time and their attention to detail was great.  They all spoke English very well, had great personalities, were well versed in the history and customs of each area and made us feel welcome and safe.  They were informed of our upcoming itinerary plans and discussed these with us as well.   Flights within Asia also were great.  No delays or cancellations. I would not hesitate to recommend or travel with this company in the future.

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was. The people at Amicus Travel were wonderful and accommodating. The tour guide, Bayara was very informative and caring, we were like his little chicks, with "Follow me" he lead us to some amazing places and sights.
Our driver was incredible, the way he drove through narrow, winding roads, I have to admit, I did brake sometimes. Thank you again!!
